DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides oversight and assures execution in the following, but not necessarily limited to, areas:

 

  1. Subcontract management / administration
    • Understanding of each party’s responsibility
    • Thorough understanding of each Subcontractor’s Scope of work
  1. Knowing the plans and project / contract requirements
  2. Change Order Management
  3. RFI / Submittal / Procurement Management
  4. Interfacing with the Design team and Owners on a regular basis regarding project status and details
  5. Problem / conflict resolution in coordination with the Owner / Subcontractors / design team / contract documents
  6. Pay Application Preparation
  7. Working with Public agencies (i.e. NVE, SWG, etc.) on approvals, requirements, etc.
  8. WIPs / Forecasting
  9. Managing several projects Concurrently

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

 

  1. Computer literate with knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Office programs
  2. Construction accounting knowledge
    1. Cost Codes
    2. Estimates vs. actual costs and associated reporting
    3. Etc.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Strong strategic organization skills – capable of multi-tasking and managing several jobs at concurrently.
  5. Strong people skills – capable of interacting with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner at all time, with a strong understanding of business acumen.
