Description

Special event security officers are expected to be observant and provide a visible deterrence to crime and disruptions at special events. Officers enforce rules and regulations, ensure access control, conduct weapons screening and prevent theft. Officers create a safe, secure and professional environment by interacting with the public, vendors, client’s staff & other event support staff at their assignment by employing their training and following company policies and client instructions.

Requirements:

*Provide a safe environment for staff and guests during special events
*Provide perimeter/interior security of the event
*Assist local law enforcement personnel and fire personnel as needed
*Check identification
*Search bags for contraband and weapons as required
*Remove disruptive individuals from event
*Assist guests with medical emergencies
*Crowd and traffic control
*Interact with guests and staff in a polite and professional manner
*Complete accurate and thorough incident reports
